Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 27, 2023Minnesota DNR campgrounds generally provide a parking slot, table and firepit. Sites 1 to 6 are in a line with little separation. The other 5 sites are around a loop with some separation. Gravel parking slots are fairly level. Vault toilets provided were reasonably clean. A long handled water pump was marked out of order - repair ordered.
The campground is next to a boat landing so it attracts boaters and fishermen.
We had a problem with noisy, inconsiderate campers. Life was better when they left.
Be prepared for mosquitos. We didn't find any ticks.ell
Cell coverage was good with a dependable 3 bars.

A 2 mile gravel road, that was very rough, led us to a beautiful campground. Lots of sites to choose from. Only 6 other campers there on a Wednesday in July. Quiet and cool at night. Visited by a herd of cows was entertaining! We rode our mountain bikes on some quad trails which was fun. Picnic tables were in rough shape. Toilets were clean.
