World’s (Second) Largest Rocking Chair

Do not navigate to where the app says!! Plug in the Fanning Outpost General Store and the chair is right next to it. Really cool though!!

So great! Our navigation was incorrect. When heading toward St. Louis you exit the highway and turn right then left onto highway ZZ. Not too far down the road on the left side next to a little store. The rocker is hidden behind trees as you approach so watch for the store. Probably 2 miles or so off the highway. Great picture.

I plugged the navigation into Apple Maps. We found it just fine. When I arrive, the chair was painted red.

Fun little stop. Not far off the interstate. Nice store to get snacks and a photo op on 66

Nice place to stop and stretch your legs. The Fanning General Store is a cool store. Hundreds of different flavors of bottled soda, they make their own flavored popcorn, and lots of Route 66 memorabilia. The lady working there was really nice. There is a feed store and kitchen store in back which is different. World's Largest Rocking Chair is really big and interesting to look at. Definitely would recommend stopping for a snack.
