Do not navigate to where the app says!! Plug in the Fanning Outpost General Store and the chair is right next to it. Really cool though!!
So great! Our navigation was incorrect. When heading toward St. Louis you exit the highway and turn right then left onto highway ZZ. Not too far down the road on the left side next to a little store. The rocker is hidden behind trees as you approach so watch for the store. Probably 2 miles or so off the highway. Great picture.
Great stop! Really loved the Rocking Chair! Nice general store and friendly owner!
Cute stop and Fanning Outpost General Store is awesome. Route 66 tourist stop!
Nice stop and route 66 great for photos
The store is even bigger than the chair
Navigation took us right to it. Cool photo op. The store looked small but it’s huge inside. Clean restrooms too
Definitely worth the stop! Loved the store as well.
Cool store for Route 66 postcards and stickers! Press a penny while ya there too.
And be sure to get a pic with the second largest rocking chair
Everyone else is correct, the app showed it a mile and a half down the road on the opposite side. Fortunately we were able to turn around. Meet one of the owners, she was great! Came out to great ya, took a family photo and free samples of the fudge and popcorn. Have a huge selection of sodas, Route 66 souvenirs, clean bathrooms and a great selection! Worth the stop. Pet friendly as well.
