This 1899 Rock Island depot; listed on the National Register of Historic Places; houses an extensive operating model railroad; historic photos; dining car memorabilia;and uniforms. Also displayed on the grounds are two steam engines; a 1917 waycar; a club car; Railway Post Office car and caboose; Plymouth diesel engine. Watch passing trains from a secure platform along the tracks of the Iowa Interstate; BNSF; and Union Pacific railroads.
