“true elegance& sophistication”
"One of the finest B&Bs I've seen anywhere, this impressively grand 1890 Greek Revival mansion, with massive pillars, porches, and terraces, sits in a quiet residential neighborhood up the hill from downtown Corning. Rooms are huge and impeccably decorated with great, luxurious taste by the two owners, art and antique collectors who recently moved to Corning from Seattle. The house features stately parlors, an elegant candlelit dining room, and a palatial cedar stairway. Two of the rooms, the Master Bedroom and the Honeymoon Suite, are almost ridiculously large; they, as well as the normal rooms, qualify as excellent values given the level of quality exhibited throughout the house. I could envision myself relaxing here for days on end. The inn's website, unfortunately, doesn't come close to reflecting the house's true elegance and sophistication, trust me." An elegant Bed and Breakfast just waiting for you to enjoy its many luxuries. George Abbott, a partner in the Hoare Glass Cutting Company of Corning, New York built the mansion in 1890.
