Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 05, 2021Campground is decent. It’s in the woods, so there is some shade.
We were gone most days, all day, so didn’t need anything spectacular.
Sites are kind of close to each other, but again we were gone most days.
Playground could use some repairs. Kids wanted to play but I didn’t feel comfortable with some of the breakages.
Cell service showed great coverage but ran really slow. I think it’s because so many people in the area using it.
Bathrooms/showers are nice and clean
Laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers
All in all we’d stay again.

We stayed here for a week exploring Glacier National Park. First of all, it's very close to the entrance of the park, less than 10 minutes away. You park on dead grass and dirt, we were lucky to have been able to level our vehicle relatively easily; looks like some of the sites are harder to do that. Lots of trees around, and it was nice in that way. They also have a small playground for the kiddies. They don't have sewer but they do have a dump station available. Their water pressure is variable at best; don't do what we did and replace a perfectly good water filter thinking that it must be clogged. The showers are cleaned regularly, but since the place is dirt and grass they get very dirty very quickly. The owners are very accommodating, but we stayed close to their home and we could hear every argument they had, so it felt a bit awkward. Overall, it depends on if you're looking for a campground or an RV park experience.

Definitely has a basic campground feel among lots of fairly dense trees, so if you like shady and wooded then you'll like this. It does have 50A and water hook ups which is nice, although the sewer service is a dump station on the way out, so you can't do it all at once when leaving; no biggie for us. Verizon cell service was decent and we had no issues; watched our usual Netflix all evening without an issue. It's a little tight getting in and out but there was definitely room for our 40' fifth, so no complaints. Our site was level; others didn't look quite so much, but not terrible, and we were walked through the various open sites to begin with, so we could choose which one we liked best. The rules seem to be pretty informal, just how we like it. It wasn't very busy and the other campers were friendly; we felt comfortable security-wise leaving the camper all day while we explored the national park and we weren't disappointed. It's quiet--except for the train noise which was fairly frequent and the horn was very loud until late at night, so if you have very young kids that might be an issue. Camp owner/host Bill was very pleasant, so all in all, it was a good experience.

Camping under the trees have a rustic feel even though it was right off the highway. First impression from the road was not the greatest but it was a decent location to get to West Glacier. Electric and water hookup. Bathroom facilities were ok, free showers were doable however we chose not to do our laundry. Great customer service when I spoke with owner over the phone. Welcomed by the owner and campground host when we arrived. Campsites were tight for the big rigs! Starlink worked in our spot but not sure it would in all the spots. Would stay again just to beat the expensive prices of West Glacier but might try a different location.

So friendly and accommodating. Only one dump site so not full hookups, but it works. Clean large showers, laundry and a kitchen sink to wash the big stuff
