“Old Car Museum”
Founded in 2006, the Antique Car Museum of Iowa is located in a 28,000-square-foot showroom at the Iowa River Landing area in Coralville, Iowa, off of 1-80 exit 242. The museum showcases 70+ automobiles dating from 1899 to the 1980s, as well as a replica of an early 20th-century Skelly gas station. Included in the exhibit area is a model train display operated by the Hawkeye Model Railroad Club of Iowa City.
Just off the freeway with lots and lots of old cars, well worth the $5 admission. The local historical society museum is in the same building (and included in the $5 admission) but we didn't have time to look round that part of the building.
Has a lot of neat old cars and quite the variety. My husband is car lover and thoroughly enjoyed it! It is only 5 bucks for admission so if you like/love cars it is worth the trip :)
