“North America's greatest dive bar”

Found in the basement level of 1200 Main St, right across the street from the SC State House, and directly below the local ABC News studio, The Whig has been a subterranean respite since 2005. Home to the infamous $1 slice Pizza Mondays and 75-cent Taco Tuesdays, the menu is delicious and the drinks are generous. A Columbia institution, and one of the best juke boxes in town.
