“offering up traditional English-style ales since 1995”
We’re the Hunter-Gatherer, a Columbia, South Carolina-based brew pub. We’ve been offering up traditional English-style ales since 1995. We brew them ourselves, and we’re the only place in the world you can get them. Besides the phenomenal beer, you’ll also find a lot of other things to enjoy at the H-G, like a variety of fresh, home-made dishes we prepare right in our kitchen; a low-key atmosphere that’s conducive to great conversation; and plenty of interesting, diverse people. We’re selective about our music, too. You’ll hear a variety, from jazz to alternative and folk. Whether it’s live music from a local group or selections from our extensive library, you’ll find the sounds to be unique and comfortable. So come check us out. We’re tucked away on South Main, right behind the capital building.
