The campground is divided into 2 sections. The front section is open while the rear is surrounded by trees. We were in the rear section & unable to obtain a DirecTV signal. We did get StarLink but with obstructions. Our site was HUGE, we could have parked multiple vehicles. Hookups worked well but the sewer connection was not close to the electrical & water. Park is located about 3/4 mile off the highway which limits noise. The road to the park is gravel & can be muddy or rough depending on recent weather.
Staff is very friendly. They allow mail/packages & escorted us to our site. We did not use any of the amenities. Sadly, unlike other campgrounds, the park has no policy regarding displaying political themed flags/banners, etc. While free speech is important to me allowing this in todays society is a safety issue.

This is a really nice, clean park close to town without dealing with the noise. Yes, it’s on a short gravel road, but that’s part of the country charm. We are backed up to horses that are very friendly. The staff is very helpful. We didn’t use the facilities. There is so much to do in this area. We will definitely stay here again.

Just got in to RV-ing a few months ago...and attempted to book campgrounds in Columbia Falls, MT. Quickly realized the Big Sky Music Festival was in town the last week we were going to be in the area. Bob and his crew had a spot for our 5th wheel Monday through Thursday...but nothing Friday and Saturday night.
They offered to let us boondock in their RV park just so we would have a place to stay. Very nice of them!
Turns out they had a cancellation, and we got upgraded to a full service site (electric, water, waste), for our last two nights. No charge!
Overall rating is 5 starts. Very clean, quiet and pleasant RV park. Bathroom and bathhouse spotless. Grounds were immaculate. Showers were $1 for 5 minutes. They charge minimal fee to dump, but since we has full service the last two days, did not need. Very quiet RV Park.
Access is about 1/4 mile down a dusty gravel road from main highway...that is about the only negative I could think of.
My wife is in Grad/Doctoral school...and was able to complete a large homework / project on the RV Park's Wi-Fi. Very cool!
Got to meet Bob when we were checking out...he apologized for us having to move our campsite...said they are going to 100% on-line reservations next year...should eliminate having to shuffle and move people around. Bob as super nice, asked where we were from, asked if there was anything he could have done to make our stay better.
We will be staying at Whispering Pines in the future!

It’s almost like 2 separate RV parks here. One is set back in the woods and more secluded, the other is more of an open RV park. We stayed in the front part in a pull through site. All the sites were level gravel and spacious. Some had a concrete patios, we had a nice grass sp. Next time I would pick a back in spot in the back just to get that woodsiness.
The park is very quiet. Saw some deer and woodpeckers when we walked around. I would not recommend to people with kids as there is only a small playground to entertain them. We like that just fine. There was a large fenced in area for our dog to fetch.
Wifi was decent overall. Better during the week when less people were there.
The park is 20 miles from Glacier National Park and less than 10 miles from Whitefish. It was the perfect central location for everything we wanted to do. Less than a five minute drive gets you a great grocery store and lots of restaurant choices.
My only complaint would be the lack of full hookups. We had water and electric only so we had to conserve a lot and dump mid way through our stay. We took advantage of our proximity to the restrooms which were IMMACULATE as was the laundry room.
A great weeks stay overall

Super convenient for Whitefish and Kalispell. A little hard to find the well maintained access road to the super quiet, well maintained and managed park. From our site we had a meadow and mountain view. Part of the park is open and half in the trees. There are TWO fully fenced dog parks in the treed area. Good laundry and showers, very clean. No downside camping mid September! Thoroughly recommend. AND no darned overhead lights (personal peeve) so you can see the night sky.

We enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. We are in a 42 foot motorhome pulling a jeep and they had plenty of accommodating spots. Like someone else stated it’s like 2 RV parks, one out in the open and another back in a wooded area and we also would preferred the wooded area if we visit again. This park is very pet friendly and everyone seems to clean up after them, it has a large fenced area for letting them run around. We were close to the garbages and dump station and had a bit of a hard time connecting to the internet and the cell reception was lacking. Overall the park was very clean and everyone we bumped into walking their dogs of passing our site were friendly.

The previous reviews are accurate. We were in 67. The back wooded lot. Electric only, no problems, great voltages. Nice gravel, LEVEL site. That back wooded section is much nicer than the front section in our opinion. Super quiet.
The dirt gravel road from the hwy back into the park is a little washboard, but not terrible.
Staff was super friendly, easy check in.

We visited Whispering Pines in order to visit nearby Glacier National Park. After check-in, we were escorted to our site by a man in a golf cart. The sites are well laid out diagonal sites with gravel, but they could stand to be a little longer as we barely fit our truck in cross-ways, parking a portion of it on the grass due to their being little room in the space. There's enough space between sites for a small patio and picnic table with umbrella. The lanes in between the rows were tight however and had to roll over the grass in order to pull in.
We had full hookups and no problem with the utilities. They do accept packages at their address as long as it is addressed to Whispering Pines with a c/o recipient on the label.
The laundry room is a little pricey at $3 per wash and $2 per drying load. The showers are clean and the water is hot.
Starlink gave us 93 down and 15 up. We had 3 bars on the Verizon phones (101/1.7) and 5 bars with the cell antenna (74/23). AT&T was 2 bars with the cell antenna (21/0.4). Wifi at 2.4g was at 5 bars (2/0.5) and at 5g was at 5 bars (7/0.8).

Immediately checked in to our spot later than normal hours. Staff wanted to ensure we had all the information we needed and stayed beyond the hours to make this happen. Staff are friendly, prompt, and for the price I truly believe it is worth every penny.
Close proximity to great adventures including Glacier National Park. Even extending a day later than originally booked they were able to accommodate this with no hassle during peak season. Thank you!
We will definitely be back!
