Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 13, 2019We are those type who rarely get reservations somewhere, especially on a Wednesday night. However this area was full, state parks, forest service campgrounds, and private campgrounds. We were lucky and got the last spot at Glacier Peaks RV Park.
It is an older RV Park, but it was clean. Although it is located on hiway 40, traffic noise was not too bad. There are 5 cabins to rent, tenting area, and an over flow area where they allow RV’s to park for $25 cash, although generator use was a very limited time. All sites could accommodate large rigs, some pull though, some were back in. Some had sewer, all the rest had power and water. They do not have a dump station. Most sites had some sort of shade. Two restroom buildings, lots of trash cans, an unfenced pet area and laundry facilities. They sell ice.
The staff person helping us check in was friendly and helpful, checkout was 11:00 AM.

This place was pretty dusty and noisy, but the location near the Airport was good, as we rented a car. The other review covers the details.

RV Park is 5 miles from Whitefish, 12 miles to Kalispell, and 30 minutes to Glacier NP. RV sites are a little narrow and gravel pads with grass area with table. It’s a decent, well maintained park. Second time we stayed here.

They only had this 50amp site open for 2 days and I planned to stay 7 days. If they didn't have a 50amp site, I would stay on a 30amp site. However, I had a lady beat on my door on the 2nd day and she said ” The lady at the office told me to come and look at your site. Did your rig level up ok?” I said yes. The lady stated that if she liked my site, then she could have it the next day. What???? I wanted a 50amp for 7 days but here was a lady giving my site to someone off the street. I was stunned, mad, vowed to never give these people another dime.

We typically boondock, but our water was running low and we wanted some long, hot showers. We also needed to do our laundry. RV park it is, but most RV parks in the area were either full or closed for the season.
Staff is very friendly, but we paid $60 to use maybe $2 of electric, paid $2 for an 8 minute shower, and $5/wash for laundry. Not really sure why I paid $60 when I literally had to pay for every service they offered. We were really bummed at the price of their laundry and that we had to pay to use their showers.
Not to mention, the water was out in all of the park for the one night we were there. Just our luck I guess. It was on the next morning, and were able to wake up early to get all we needed done before check out.
Verizon signal was great. I'd only stay if there was absolutely no where else to go. Even then, I'd probably just drive to a near by town and try a different RV park.

It’s about a half hour’s drive outside of the Park, but is easy-in, easy-out with a big rig. Very pleasant staff, nice restrooms, and plenty of space to walk dogs. While the laundry facility is nice, it’s expensive- $5.50 to wash, $2 to dry.

We stayed in this campground as we were not prepared to boondock yet, and all of the state parks were full at the time of booking. This was a typical private campground experience, small and tight. The space we were assigned needed strategic maneuvering to get our rig into. There were trees on either side of the space, of which we needed to be careful when trying to get our slides out. No mats allowed out, even though the entire site was dirt and pine needles, meaning they ended up inside our camper and it was a mess by the end of our stay. The worst part was the placement of the sewer and electric for the site next to us... less than 6 feet from our front steps.
Pros: small playground, flat, close to West Glacier (25 minutes), will get a free night with a weekly stay
Cons: extremely small sites, expensive laundry, expensive rates for what you received, lots of road noise (you are right off the highway)
Starlink did work... however we had to maneuver it around the trees.
