Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 13, 2023This County Park is very attractive with a no wake 100-acre lake. The campsites are typical for a county park: gravel pads with 20/30/50 amp electric service, picnic table and fire pit. Most sites can accommodate large rigs. The ten campsites that overlook the lake are first come, first served. Twelve campsites are reservable. The campground has many mature trees and is located far from highway 30 noise.
The modern shower house has large, private shower rooms. The center area inside the building is a certified tornado shelter - more parks should build similar shelters. The 3-mile gravel path around the lake is an easy hike. Fishing is popular here.
Tents are allowed at Breezy Bay Campground. However, the separate primitive campground located on the south side of the lake is less expensive.

This is a great simple park with 30 and 50 amp hook ups. Water and dump station available at shower house.
Shower house is kept very clean.
Great lake with path all the way around.
Sites are a weird crushed gravel that get lots of dust in the RV but definitely not a deal breaker for this nice quiet park.
