With its proximity to downtown Cleveland and complete aircraft support services, Burke is the preferred airport for our corporate customers and visitors to our region.  Operated by the City of Cleveland’s Department of Port Control, Burke is a FAR Part 139 Airport. As the official reliever airport for Cleveland Hopkins International, Burke is critical to the safety and efficiency of the local, regional, and national air transportation systems. However, the majority of Burke’s air traffic is made up of privately owned and charter aircraft used for business purposes—along with flight training, leisure flying, and military operations among others.
