“discover the history of Euclid on display”
Housed in the 1894 township high school, the museum’s holdings are founded upon the survey of Euclid Township from 1796 to 1802. Vineyard equipment and Victorian rooms represent Euclid’s wine era (1870-1920). Industrial artifacts and village/city memorabilia show off the 20th century. Transportation displays cover trail, sail, rail and automobile eras. The City of Euclid owns Township Hall immediately west of the museum. It also derives from a former Euclid Township schoolhouse. Township Hall is a work in progress to help revitalize historic Euclid Creek village. The two Euclid History Museum buildings represent the oldest material legacy of the Euclid Public Schools, which was in place by 1818 on this spot.
