Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on October 12, 2021We made the mistake of coming without bikes or kayaks. Would have been a lot more fun had we brought those for day activities. Back end where we stayed was a little snug. Thankfully neighbors moved cars so we could more easily back into our site.
Water and electricity hookups were solid. pads clean and new and well maintained. Didn't use restrooms but grounds seemed very well taken care of.
Next time we go we'll bring bikes and kayaks and try to get one of the spots along the river with full hookups.

This is a gem of a campground. Extremely clean and well managed. Lovely concrete pads many with trees in between. Sites are close together but the pads are ample in size.
There are plenty of options for activities including trails, biking, horsebck riding, and boating in the White River which runs behind some of the sites. It rained hard while we were here and I noticed a few of the sites had water standing at the front.
The bath house was exceptional though small, it was very clean. Weekends tend to be busy with the campground full of families and many tent campers.
My only issue was was with the WiFi. Though the campground service throughout (they were working on it while we were there) the speeds were dismally slow.
There is a two week limit to your stay.

This is actually the nicest campground we have found in the Indianapolis area. It is located on the White River – which, unfortunately, was chocolate when we were there as the river was high and muddy. There’s a lot to do. A nearby business rents canoes. They pick you up at the campground then you canoe back. There are miles of mixed-use hiking/biking/horseback riding trails. Koteewi park is just down the road where there is an aerial park and archery activities. For the most part, it was pretty quiet at least during the week. When you make the reservation, they take the deposit by credit card and charge a processing fee of about 1.5%. When you arrive at the campground, you have the option to pay for the remaining nights with cash or check to avoid another processing fee by using a credit card. This is a nonrefundable deposit. The interior roads are narrow and make for difficult maneuvering with larger RVs. There are also some very tight turns. To make matters more interesting, cars are parked in common grass areas which provide yet another obstacle to maneuver around. Trees could use some trimming as we got up close and personal with several attempting to get into our site. Many sites need a good trimming; however, some sites have no trees at all. The pad was level concrete, and wandering around the park we noticed they all varied in length and width. Our site was long enough for the MH and car by placing our rear tires at the very end of the pad. We hugged one side to avoid trees scraping the MH. There is a small strip of grass between sites and some have trees. There is presumably WII FI by the office but didn’t use it. Verizon had 4g and 2 bars so we used out hot spot. We could not get satellite due to trees. We would return but with our list of which sites suit big rigs better.

We enjoyed our stay here. Place really filled up on the weekend. The spots are on the small side with some odd set ups. The water is in between 2 spots so depending on which spot you get you may have trouble getting water.
Kids enjoyed the playground. There is a nice trail to a county nature center that is awesome. Definitely worth the 2 mi bike ride!
The river is beautiful and staff were very friendly. To make a reservation you have to call and call and call. They never returned our VM and there are no online capabilities.

Very nice campground 30 minutes from Indianapolis. All types of camping from tent to 50amp FHU. Clean and well kept grounds as well as restroom/shower buildings. Small boat ramp and fishing access on river. This is a popular park so reservations are recommended. We will stay here again when visiting family in the area.

I was on a cross country drive and I looked for a place to stay around Indianapolis IN. I called and a very nice woman answered on the 2nd ring and confirmed my stay for that night. I arrived near 7pm, rang the gate buzzer, spoke to the host who then came to meet me within 1 minute and escorted me to my site. Camp is clean and you can see pride in it's appearance. Because we have had a rough couple of days driving I think we will stay a second night.

This is a nice campground- most of the camper sites are actually on the river. It has a new extensive playground area. The sites are level and kept clean. There was only one big disappointment and that was we got kicked out early because the river flooded. Of course, I guess I can’t hold the campground responsible for that!

This campground is so nice. We like the sites that have water and electricity only because full hook up is a little tighter.
You can wade in the river. There’s a canoe company that picks up up at the campground and your trip ends right there. You just leave the canoe and walk back to your site! The playground is updated and super nice.
Bathhouse looked nice, but we didn’t use it. Camp store has last minute needs and ice cream. There are laundry facilities.
You can fish in the ponds too, but we didn’t.
The campground is right next to an amazing park with a lot of hiking/walking/biking trails.
Horseback riding and a zip line/air course nearby. Archery too I think.
Cicero is very close and there’s plenty of small stores to get supplies.
Verizon has great service if you need it.
The downsides:
-some of the sites flood. We moved from 34 for that reason.
-some of the sites have water and electricity on the “wrong side” of the camper.

We were only here for an overnight but wish we had more time. Excellent sites, several with full hookup. Lots of fishing and hiking options because it’s attached to another great county park. Excellent cell reception, lovely staff, and great atmosphere. The town of Cicero is so cute and there were several things we would have done here if we had more time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND!!!

Clean and well kept RV park. Very friendly people with kids. The White River run through the campground making it a very scenic place. Definitely making this one of our go to places to stay while we travel for business.
