Bob Koester started selling 78s out of his dorm room in 1953, making him a retailer for 58 years! He moved to Chicago in 1959 and started selling as Jazz Record Mart. As owner / producer of Delmark Records, he is responsible for documenting many of Chicago's great jazz and blues artists , including many influential recordings. Stocking tens of thousands of new and used LPs, CDs, 78s, 45s, magazines, books, posters, t-shirts, and more, Jazz Record Mart has long been a destination location for music fans the world over.
