“Wizard of Oz themed park”
Located in the Lincoln Park community, parents gather with their preschoolers at Oz Park to enjoy the park which celebrates "The Wizard of Oz" theme. “Dorothy’s Playlot” is filled with play equipment for the little ones to climb, swing, and run. In the "Emerald Garden", families can enjoy a leisurely afternoon among the beautiful flowers. Take a stroll through the park and you’ll be greeted by statues of the Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, and everyone’s favorite, Dorothy & Toto. Organized activities for children include soccer and t-ball. The park features Dorothy's Playground, a community garden, tennis courts, ball fields, basketball courts, and soccer/football fields. We invite you to check out our programs offered year-round!

Another hidden gem in Chicago, this park is completely Wizard of Oz themed, with statues of all the major characters, though the wicked witch is sadly lacking.
Fun place to take the kids, as there's a really nice playground and a bunch of kickball games happening all the time.
Great place to go enjoy a beautiful day. There are usually a lot of baseball and kickball games going on, so if you're trying to enjoy a picnic or a book in the park you might have to look out for flying objects. Great playground for kids and the Wizard of Oz statues are fun to seek out.
I was here in September of 2019. I loved every minute of this hidden gem. It would be cool if they would add more characters but it did have the 4 main ones. Definitely a must see if you are ever in the area. It is very kid friendly and brings lots of memories of the growing up watching the movie.
Fun park in the middle of the city especially for The Wizard of Oz FANS.
