Silver Sioux Recreation Area

This is a very nice little campground with a section of full hookup spots with concrete pads and shade. There were no sites available and even though it said first come first served there were spots where there were no campers but people’s stuff was left in the site.
The water and electric section had plenty of available sites even on a weekend. The park has an old barn that has been converted to a gathering center, picnic areas, trails a lodge and a boat launch across the road. For $15 per night it was a great deal in a quiet little park in a rural area. We would definitely return.
Just a note, if you have Verizon cell service you have great signal. AT&T is non-existent however.
