This campground is cheap but clean. As you first enter there are a few ? Cabins ? but as you go down the hill it gets better. There is an un-air conditioned shower room but it is clean enough to do the job. Also a small fishing lake and a nice river.
NO sign so look on the map to find this place.

Old city rv park is being (revamped into an rv resort. 30.00 a night. Weekly and monthly rates also. Owned by the city.. Currently only 11 lots are open as of now.. with 50 amp service and full hookups on a gravel lot ( for now. Will be poured concrete when finished) overlooking the city park and river. We chatted with the friendly and informative campground host, , who said the rv park is in the process of being fully revamped. The campground will be a new gated RV Resort with a lake for fishing, canoe and kayak rentals, clubhouse, laundry, river access, beautiful sunsets, and quiet surroundings. Looking forward to seeing this place on our next visit.

This was our first time in this park north of I-10. You must call the city to make reservations. If you need room to walk your dog or fish, this is a great spot close to town. It's a small town but, it has everything you need.

The spaces are nicely spread apart and site 11 is the best! This park is a short walk to the Chatahoochee River Landing Park. A lot of people fish at the river's edge as well and launch their boats.

We didn't use the facilities (showers/restrooms) as we had full hookup. The site was clean with a new picnic table. The pad is gravel and easy to get into with our 40' fifth wheel, if you back up from the road leading out of the park. The RV park is well maintained and the host (Billy) is a great guy and will help you out with whatever you need to know regarding the town and surrounding area.

You are five minutes from a laundry and the river, or Lake Seminole. There is a ton of history at this city park, as well as a great playground for the kids.

We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet - next to a city park that was beautiful in the evening lots of short term visitors, which made us wonder a bit … this camp was gated and we never felt unsafe - $192 for 7 nights - Billy the host was nice and helpful. The bathroom facilities were okay- usable- needs a little TLC
Not much to do in the area - had a Piggly Wiggly and a few dollar stores, laundry mat in town - we would probably stay there again if we were passing through again
