411 River Rest Campground

Love staying here! Only 20 min from I-75 which is great. Easy check in process as the office is right up front when you enter. Sites are level and spaced apart nicely with decent wifi available. Most sites have full hookup but there are a few that are just water and electric.

The owners are some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet and make you feel like family. Great campground for an overnight or to spend a few days. Highly recommend! We'll be staying here again!!

I’ve been here for a month and have really enjoyed the fall colors, quiet week nights and clean showers and laundry room. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. There is an awesome playground, lighted dog park, and we’ll stocked store with ice cream!

We did a very short stay. This is a great place. Site have plenty of space between you and neighbors or at least our section does. We stayed in site 61 and had a great view of the river. Everything is hard compact gravel and with that the spaces that are fairly level but not perfect level. Our spot is 80 feet. We can park our 40’ fifth wheel and 20 foot truck with plenty of room left! Incredible amount of maneuvering room for backing in. Even the greenest driver will be happy. The owners are campers and designed this place to be spacious.

Highway noise can be heard but if you have a noise maker or ac’s running you want notice inside your camper as much. Don’t let that discourage you. At first i thought it would be a problem then after a while i stopped noticing it. Inside with tv on and air filter machines running i slept perfect.

Owners are great! Very helpful and love their business here! Very tidy and clean! All guest were just good folks!
Opened to the public in 2020 so its brand new.

The entire campground got a power surge hours after we arrived. Our power watch dog surge protector did its job. It went into protection mode and shut power off to the camper saying we had a voltage over 132 or below 104. When power resumed to normal watch dog resumed it was all good. Love the watch dog!!! But their modem or mesh system suffered. Our site 61 has a repeater antenna, I was instructed to unplug it and allow it to reset which did not help. It kept dropping service. Staff said they were working on it until service ended. Day later the password wont even take. Prior to the surge their internet was fast with no lag. Had 20 down and 18 up. Not gig internet but we could stream 4k. My wife could work with no lag time. We had to switch to our AT&T data. AT&tT service here was 2 bars. It was faster with their internet when it worked.

A great place for an over night or two stay as moving through - this place is perfect for that. Not a whole lot to do in this area but if you want peace and rest this place is it. Right next to Carters lake.

Apple orchards and markets and barns everywhere. Great for apple season! If you love apples great base camp for that!

They don’t have a pool but have a lot of play areas and a splash pad for kids.

Very Friendly Welcoming Staff. Appears to be all family run. Sites Were Spaced Farther Apart Than Any Other Campground We Have Stayed At.

I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful campground. The staff are super friendly and courteous and they go the extra mile to keep this park clean and well maintained. I had a great spot (#54) right on the river with enormous shade trees. Thank you for the great stay 411.

Really a great place to stay. We came from Oklahoma to visit friends. They told us about this place so we booked the week. The owners are so hospitable and the park-like river side campgrounds have spacious sites. Large yard areas for campers to throw the ball around and the splash pad looks like so much fun.
Definitely a place to return to.
