Planned to stay at Springhill for a couple of months while in the area, but moved to another campground after two weeks because we experienced repeated water quality issues. Our neighbor told us the campground is 50 years old and apparently, the water periodically becomes full of rust and then they flush the entire system. However, they were only flushing the lines after we called the office to say there's a problem, our water is full of dirt and rust. During the time we were there, the area was deluged with rain and it appeared there also groundwater contamination in addition to the normal rust getting into the water supply. Their policy is no refunds on monthly rates, but the owner did allow the manager to prorate our bill to only the time we actually stayed.

Could not get a reservation with pop-up camper.
And dark. It is is a wonderfully wooded forest with huger trees. It made it about 10 degrees cooler than it was, but it was always kind of a perpetual twilight. That said, it was quiet, lots of room between sites, hook up were good, Wi-Fi was fantastic. It is probably 60% permanent residents but everything it kept up nicely. The owners were very nice. Very peaceful spot near Chapel Hill.

Our Garmin took us right to this park. The roads are gravel as are the long level pull through sites with woods on both side. The sites are wide with lots of room before the next site. The water pressure was great. Electric and sewer worked as expected...This is a park we're it's grand to just sit outside and enjoy the woods.
