Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on October 24, 2023This was the first campground I visited after purchasing my camper to test her out. Very nice & friendly staff.
It was the first week of May so it was still off season, not as many people & we went during the week. The sites were close but not right on top of each other. They were also level. Bathhouse was clean.
We were right in middle of tornado, we were fine & just stayed inside. Campground security went around during storm to check on everybody that was there, which I thought was very nice.
Wifi was strong, able to stream movies as we road out the storm & cell single was great as well.
The dog have dog run for furry family members. They have an outdoor & indoor pool but not open when I was there because it was off season.
Nice atmosphere & my mother & I felt very safe here. Would recommend this campground & will go back.
I give it 4 stars because are site was more like a parking lot then woodsy area. I prefer to be surround by woods. Also the store was only opened one day a week until season started so I was bummed.

This is a huge campground that appears to be transitioning to a permanent residents kind of place. We stayed in mid-October so it was very easy to see that most occupants of this vast property were not campers but residents, occupying somewhere between 2/3 to 3/4 of the place. In the summer we’re sure it fills up because it’s a pretty part of PA & they have a huge pool and other campground amenities. But if you want a campground feel, this isn’t it. The bathhouse needs some work but would do in a pinch. The laundry was quite nice. The staff was really friendly. We were here to explore the Laurel Highlands and it’s well-located for that.
