Price is with senior discount. Pleasant lake-side location with well-maintained buildings and a/c in baths. Flat sights with gravel pads and roads. Water is good, but flush well first to eliminate rust.

They have recently put in concrete pads on some of lakeside spots. Pulled up and it was level. Not much of a playground. Price is $10 if over 65. Nice places to fish off bank.

We choose this partly because we thought the price was $10, but even with the senior discount it was $18...a lot for a tent but great if you have an RV. There was water and electric at each site and most had picnic tables and fire rings. Modern and clean bathroom and showers but only three stalls which hardly seems enough if the park was full. Host says it fills on weekends. It was a pleasant place to spend the night. The park itself was very quiet but in the morning there was considerable traffic noise. It seems to be a popular place for locals to fish and would be a lovely place to kayak. I didn’t see any evidence of hiking trails. We had 2-3 bars Verizon unboosted and 4 boosted. Even with 2 bars my husband was able to stream YouTube. Enjoy!

30amp breaker was damaged at our site, so we had to either change sites (after already setting up) or use a pigtail and plug into the 20a, so that is what we did. Concrete pads at most sites that are level, though they are short, so you might have to disconnect your tow rig to fit. Check in was quick and easy. Not much to do other than relax, eat, read, and fish.

Super little gem on a very nice freshwater lake with easy access for paddlers. Water and electric with 2 dump stations. ATT was spotty... one bar.

We stayed here for two days and really enjoyed the lake. It’s quiet, the camp spots are easy to get into and the facilities are clean!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay on a level concrete pad on the Lake Stone shore. Water and electric is on each site with two dump stations available. Our cost includes a senior discount. Should you want to boat or fish, the park has a boat launch and several sod fishing piers in addition to a wooden one within the campground area. Although we didn’t fish or boat, the pier was enjoyable to sit out on and enjoy the sunshine. The bathrooms were clean with three showers available for each side. The grass was cut and no overflow of garbage. We’d have liked some walking trails but can’t expect everything. A short drive away is the town should you need anything but nothing is available in walking distance. The grounds have a very large enclosed pavilion glassed in should you have inclement weather or opened with nice weather. The rental was very reasonable! It’s very quiet in part because no gasoline engines are allowed on the lake. Our Verizon was spotty. There is campground WiFi which works the best near the pavilion or rest rooms.

We love this county park. We have been coming here for years. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grassy areas and sites are mowed often. The lake is for fishing only. We have taken our kayak and paddled around the lake. It was very peaceful. We have never seen it full even on holiday weekends. All sites are first come, you pay on arrival then just pick your site. Cash or Checks only, no Credit Cards. If you arrive after 4pm, just pick a site and go pay the next morning between 8 and 10am. Stay limit is 14 days in the improved sites (on the lake and concrete pads). You can stay longer with permission at the other sites. Normal rate is $20 per night unless senior or county resident.

We were on the run from hurricane Ian and thought this would be a safe location. All sites have water and electric, no sewer, but there is a dump station on site. Florida resident or over 65 and the rate is $18.
Premium sites have beautiful view of the lake and concrete pads, but don’t cost more. They have a limit of 14nights. All other sites you can stay longer and are gravel. Pad was almost perfectly level.
“Town” of Century is only a mile or so away, Alabama line is about 3 miles away. Century has a gas station, one fast food hamburger joint, Ace hardware and an independent grocery store. Go into Alabama for more conveniences.
All in all I wish it was closer so we could come again soon.
