Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 21, 2019We got the passport America discount. I think it is$25 per night without the discount. Quiet location inside the Mercer County Fairgrounds. Some spots are paved most are in the grass. Full electric, water and sewer at each site. Check in is right next to the grandstands(on the left side of the stands). The ladies who helped us were amazing. Close to places to go eat and a large lake.

The first reviewer was impressed, and so am I. There is a photo of the rates, all 1/2 price for Good Sam & Passport America which is a great deal - $20 for FHU and $15 for W/E. The sites are spread throughout the park - all the FHU sites are between the main entrance and the office, which is next to the grandstand. Sites are nicely spread out but all the utility stands are shared - water/sewer are separate from electric boxes which are mostly attached to telephone poles. So depending on how you are parked, you might need a long water hose or electric cable. I was the only camper here, the 3rd Monday of October, but they are sold out for the Halloween party this weekend. Registration is in the office when open, or self-registration - mailbox outside the office door.

This is a pretty place. The grounds are super clean with lots of mowed grass and mature trees throughout. The east gate was locked so I came in through the south gate. If you enter through the south gate from W. Market Street, there are campsites directly in front of you, but don't stop there! There are also numerous campsites on the other side of the buildings to your left on the west side of the fairgrounds. I didn't need hookups so the stay cost me $10. I parked in a slot with hookups because it wasn't apparent if one should park on the grass elsewhere if not using hookups. There's a bit of persistent city traffic noise, but other than that, it's a very peaceful location. I managed to pick up one bar of the fairgrounds' free WiFi.
