Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 11, 2021This was an amazing little city park! Although we searched the internet for a city park, we didn't find it. Then a local told us there were a number of hookups available at the park. Still can't find the park on the internet! We did mention to city officials that an internet presence was needed. Anyway, we had a 50 amp hook up with water at the site, all to ourselves. There is a dump area in the park, but not at each site. The area is fully treed and the area is all grass. We stayed there for 4 nights, and it was lovely. We drove our 30K pound 40' DP right onto the grass and picked a site, although we were careful to put out blocks under our levelers. We had decent cell coverage, also. Although we went to city hall to try to pay, they told us that someone would come to our site and collect. They did take a check. The VERY unique thing about this town is that they are installing all these attractions such as the world's biggest mailbox, pitch fork, wind chimes, etc. Very clever marketing, and all that is free to look at. There were a couple restaurants that were very good (try the Greathouse of Pizza and Richards Farm Restaurant!) and everyone was very, very friendly and helpful. This was a total unexpected jewel, and it is RIGHT ON I 70!

Saw the campsite in campendium and decided to pull off I 70 for the night on our way home to Ontario. The Fairview Park is in town but 20-30 sites easy. We were the only ones there. The man from across the street dawns pull in and walked over. He's the one you pay your money to. He have us the run down of the area and recommended The Greathouse Pizza restaurant in town...Delicious homemade pizza! This town has also created their own tourist attractions https://www.bigthingssmalltown.com/ so much fun touring around to see all the giant objects!

Casey is the ultimate small town American city. It is a beautifully landscaped community complete with many Guinness Record breaking large items. A pencil, rocking chair, a bird cage and many more. The Fairview Park is a beautiful large park with grassy sites complete with shade trees, water, and 30 amp electrical hookups. The park is quiet and serene. Great evening with no disturbances. Would highly recommend this friendly little town.

We were tired of driving on I 70 and didn’t have a reservation anywhere. I called the number listed to make a reservation but you only get the number to the mayors office. We took our chances and came to the park anyway. Glad we did! Beautiful area with 20-30 sites. Had the camping area almost to ourselves. (Made social distancing easy.!) Great playground and ball fields to let the kids run. 100% gem!

Easy for a big rig to pull in or out. I would say if it was particularly rainy the ground might be soft though. The campground is attached to their beautiful city park. In the main section of town are thirty or more world record oddities like biggest rocking chair, mouse trap, golf club and tee, mailbox etc. worth a day’s visit. Right off I-70. It is a small town with big things.
Campground has 50 amp hookups and water. Dump station as you leave. There are about 40 hook ups. The night we stayed there were maybe 10 campers.

Campground is a section of Casey's Fairview Park. The park is beautiful, sites are grass, large, level, and easy for big rigs. Showers, bathrooms, 50 & 30 electric and water. Dump station on site. Walk to town...ok so maybe hike to town. Located right off I 70 West of Terre Haute. On a Sunday night in August two campers here and about 35 sites. Convenient overnight or stay and smell the roses.

Large (considering the size of the city) camping area. Arrived in the dark so kind of hard to make out sites but they are level. About 30 sites Most (if not all) had water and electric available. Some had picnic tables and firepits as well. Jerry (who picks up the money) lives across the street and only charged us $10. Was quieter than at my house. Bathrooms available 24/7. Jerry said that a key was needed to use the showers. A great place to stay the night before checking out this cute small town.

This is a beautiful city park with 24 sites that have electric and water hookups and a dump station. All are pull-through -- ok to drive on grass. Beautiful greenery, ponds, and general park recreation are everywhere. GPS takes you to a hard turn that is unmanageable for most rigs, but caretaker caught us and led us in. Very nice man! Enter via the main gate. We planned on just a one-night layover, but loved it so much, we stayed for two. We had the park to ourselves. We would absolutely recommend!
Casey, Illinois is a town of very big things! They hold several Guinness Book of Records for the "World's Largest" and throughout the town are dozens of "big" items. Here, you will see the world's largest key, mailbox, chime, a big pencil, birdcage, and bunches more. Great photo opportunities. Casey is also located on the Historic National Road and the people are super friendly! Highly recommend a stop here!

Fairview Park is a beautiful spot in the town of Casey, Illinois.
Campground sites are confusing but according to Jerry just pick a spot.
Only one other RV other than ours spent the night.
When you pull into the park take a left right past the block building (which has the very rustic showers, Jerry will give you the key if you ask) sites are on the left.
Casey is a unique town with the claim of a lot of worlds biggest objects.
My only complaint is the showers and bathrooms are a lot to be desired.

Jerry the host lives across the street from the park who came out greet us when we arrived. There were plenty of lots and we can pick any. There was only another camper who shared the park with us for the night. You need the key to access the bathroom but we didn’t use it. There is no free WiFi. Verizon 4G/LTE signals are ok, data speed is fast enough for video streaming. T-Mobile shows two bars but data is so slow and only text message works. This place feels very safe. Dump station is next to the bathroom with water hose to cleanup after. Overall, this is a nice park and I’d stay here again if I’m passing this area again.
