Dumpstation is good because it doesn't have a curb for those of us who have dump mechanisms rather low to the ground and can't dump uphill!
The rinse hose was nice too and after all, this dumpstation is FREE, even without purchasing gas.
HOWEVER.... NO FRESH WATER at this point, Oct. 2108.
there is a fresh water faucet nearby but we couldn't fill our tanks because the freeze protection valve is defective in the faucet. Instead of pressurizing our hose, the faucet just sprays water all over the place from the freeze protection valve. This means, you CAN fill a jug you hold under this faucet (because water will spray from both openings), simply by catching water underneath, but it will not pressurize a water hose.
Hopefully they'll fix this issue...
Meanwhile, if you are really desperate for fresh water, drive about 8 miles to Dayton State Park, where there is another nice dumpstation (without curb) and fresh water, but for a $5 fee.
Very clean FREE dump station with potable water. The fresh water hydrant is in excellent working order at this time (June 2019). The non-potable water station has a threaded end which you can unscrew and attach your own garden hose in order to sewage rinse. The Maverik station is very spacious with plenty of room for big rigs to maneuver. The diesel pump area has long-handled windshield washer brush/squeegees and a full bucket of water/cleaner. The inside of gas station, including the restrooms, is spacious and clean. We really appreciate Maverik offering free dump stations at many of their facilities. In our travels they have been very well ran and equipped.
We didn’t use the dump station, but the fresh water pump doesn’t work, as another reviewer said. You can fill a container and pour it into your tank, but you can’t use a hose.
Long line after Labor Day. The dump station does work. you need to pull the handle on the faucet then pull the brass nozzle and it will switch to the hose side of things.
Easy access.
Fresh water works well with good pressure.
Filled up with gas. Cheapest diesel around.
Thanks Maverik
Great gas station with dump and rinse water. A bit dirty around the drain (someone before us obviously did not get their hose into the hole and made a mess without cleaning up). But will definitely get gas here again and use their facilities in the future. Thank you Maverick!
Great place, cheap fuel and friendly staff. Always a line to dump tanks on Sunday if it’s a nice weekend.
Hey, the dump is free so what can you expect. There is no water, rinsing or fresh. The ground is really nasty because no one can rinse if they make a mess. Parking lot is huge so it’s easy to maneuver.
Excellent dump station. Wide easy access. Great fuel prices too. No water though. Not a big deal.
Excellent place to stop. Water spigot is now working! Don’t hit it like the last person.
