“victorian b&b, Carroll, IA”
The Adams Street Bed and Breakfast is a large, brick Victorian home that was constructed in 1885. The chief contractor on the home was John Conter. He built several homes around the Carroll area such as the Macomber House and the Seiver House which are both located on Adams Street. Built by John Nockels, the home stayed in the Nockels family until 1978. It was purchased in 2001 by Dale and Joan Reiling. Dale & Joan renovated this remarkable house from an apartment complex to the bed and breakfast that it is today.
