We spent one night here in early August. The RV parking area is on the NE side of the casino. Truckers also parked in this area for short periods of time during the day. While the parking lot was well lit with security cameras, some of the other RVers here were pretty sketchy; up at all hours of the night making loud noises, getting closer than comfortable to our vehicle and draining fluids on the pavement. The casino seemed nice, but the other RVers ruined this parking experience.
We stopped here on our way to Duluth. We had a very pleasant experience, minus all the parking lot lights. We were also the only RV in the parking lot.
We stayed here on our way up to Grand Marais, MN. This is a large casino with a very big parking lot, which was asphalt and level. There is a lot of nice grass to walk your fur babies and a very nice golf course if you play. We stayed here during COVID and did not enter the casino but we really enjoyed the parking lot. Very easy access for big rigs!!
Well lit, super quiet and plenty of out of the way parking. We pulled in next to 4 other rv’s. Also walked our dog around the entire casino, it’s a nice big place! Great casino too...
I arrived around 11 PM and was worried about arriving late but it was fine. I had called ahead to make sure that they wouldn't have a problem with me car camping and they were friendly on the phone and asked that I check in with security when I got there. I asked them on the phone if I should have a backup plan in case they wouldn't allow me to car camp and they said it should be fine. When I spoke with the security they said it was fine as long as I didn't cause trouble and they were ok with me parking either in the parking lot or near the RV's. I chose to camp in the RV lot and noted that there were some semi's, some RVs and a van also camping there. Everyone must have been gambling or sleeping because I didn't see anyone come out of their rigs while I was there. When you go I suggest you sign up for the Player's Club! Right now you get $5 if you are new to signing up. Also, they have a pretty decent buffet! Happy Camping!
Nice casino with RV parking available in the lot behind the casino. Not many places for pets to use the bathroom, but there is an area over by the main highway. Two bars on my Verizon hotspot and three bars on my AT&T phone.
