There are bathroom facilities within walking distance, and a bathroom/shower house within driving distance (or walking if you're in for a far distance) near the camp store. The camp store has snacks and ice, which was helpful because the nearest grocery store or gas station is a little way off. All of the primitive sites are along the creek and are a 5 minute walk from Campbell falls, which are beautiful and nice to play in. The park rangers drive by frequently, and the trash is emptied daily. This park is stunningly beautiful, and just might be my fav of all the WV state parks I've been to!

We overnighted here on our way through WV and the New River Gorge NP. Camp Creek is a very nice state park with good facilities even though a bit on the small side. We chose Blue Jay CG as it is more wooded than the Mash Fork CG, which boosts full hook-ups; there is also an CG aimed at the equestrian crowd. The Blue Jay facilities are primitive but fairly clean and don't have the typical "pit" feel (or smell). the site pads are gravel and a bit challenging to level but not too bad. Staff are friendly and very available, passing through several times while we were there. The good sized creek immediately adjacent to the Blue Jay sites is a real plus, providing a very pleasant white noise background. The park is very close to the I-77/64 corridor but doesn't suffer any traffic noise that I could detect. The quoted fee includes $1.24 tax and a Veterans discount.

We pulled in after dark and were pleasantly surprised in the morning at the beauty of these camp sites. We were in site #6 which is a beautiful, flat, u-shaped site. It looks like all of the sites but one at next to a small creek and we could hear the water running through there all night, it was awesome! The Park Ranger came through a couple of times and there appeared to be only one other site in use. We just used this as a quick stopping point on our way elsewhere but we will definitely be coming back to hike some trails!
