This campground is right on the Madison River. Every site has the sound of the water and great views of the mountains in the distance. The access is gravel but smooth. Most sites are level but rocky. There is a pit toilet but that's it. Bring your stuff because you're quite a distance from supplies - I was told some groceries are available at Slide-in a few miles away although I didn't try it out.

Easily accessible gravel road. Level, spacious gravel pads with picnic table and fire pit. Only a stone throw from the Madison. Great Mountain View. Happened to be some decent fly fishing during our time as well.

It's your typical dry camping, but with a restroom. We thought it would be prettier. Right on the river though, so if you wanted to fish and stay the night, then this would be good.

Pleasant overnight stop on the way north. Simple campsites along the Madison river, with great cell service and very easy access. Some noise from the highway, but not as much as you would think for the location. I guess if you think it’s not pretty enough, you can get your money back.

This is a small five site dry campground on a river. Our site was level with a picnic table and fire ring. The campground has a vault toilet but no water. We enjoyed the river with a view of the snow capped mountains in mid June.
