“A book for everybody!”
Established in 2005, Raven Used Books in Harvard Square has established itself as one of the best scholarly used book stores in the country. The shop stocks about 16,000 carefully selected used books and specializes in Philosophy, Social and Political Theory, Anthropology, History, Poetry, Music, Theology, Art and Architecture. The store is weighted towards university presses rather than general presses in these fields. We also stock very strong sections of Literature, Science, Linguistics, Film Studies, Media and Cultural Studies, International Studies, Social Criticism, Drama, and more. We purchase over 1100 books every week at this location and all books are priced between 50% - 80% off the cover price.
