Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on February 11, 2024The rest area appears new. The rest rooms and picnic areas are very clean. The best part is the parking area for trucks/RVs is HUGE. There are approximately 50 spots for big rigs on the pavement and a very large broken up asphalt lot further north. We parked along the fence area in the broken asphalt area, allowing us a very good nights sleep!!

I didn't need to spend the night but I would have been happy to. Great views and lots of interesting historical information displays.
There are 2 large, paved parking lots. The first lot you come to is away from the highway, and the second is right by it. To the side is a large gravel area. I parked at the far end of the gravel to be away from the idling trucks. Only one truck stayed overnight, but the paved lots were lit up like a stadium, so I was glad to have been in the dark area. Highway traffic was very light at night, so it was not too noisy.
Verizon 4G was adequate, but I didn't note the bars or speed.

Enormous, clean, oddly quiet despite the adjacent highway. I slept well and stayed here over 24 hours with no problems. Would happily stay again.

Stayed here on the way to the Mojave Desert. Liked the idea of a restroom and Internet. There was only one other RV but maybe 1/2 dozen people sleeping in cars. Only issue was 35 mile per hour winds that really rocked our truck/camper.

Disappointing. Closed probably due to COVID.
This rest spot is great. It's well lit, clean bathrooms, and large RV spots. There were a few other camper vans already parked for the night when we pulled in. It's right on the highway so there is your typical highway noise and by the morning there were several big rigs parked in the lot. This made for a noisy morning as the rigs seem to be running nonstop. But for a free spot just for the night it was great and we felt safe.

Pretty much standard highway rest area but very clean and large enough for any vehicle, trailer or truck.

This rest stop was a much appreciated oasis. Large spaces… Not near semi perking so no noise from refrigerated trucks or trucks entering or exiting. and far enough back from the 95 to have
only moderate road noise….The ground was hard and level. Good spot for a night.

Was on that long stretch on 95 and needed a place to stop and rest for the night. This place was great! Clean, not crowded, some highway noise but not terrible. Only issue was around 10p some yahoos decided it would be fun to do donuts in the parking area between my rig and a big rig. They weren’t there for long, but they got a little too close for comfort. Other than that, had a great nights sleep!
