“Family owned and operated since 1840”

Goodrich's Maple Farm is located on US Route 2 between the villages of Marshfield and West Danville, Vermont. Family owned and operated since 1840. Seven generations of dedication have made our award-winning maple products sought by customers from all over the world. In the beautiful post & beam building, visitors enjoy free tours by the Goodrich family. Visiting the sugarhouse in the springtime boiling season brings extra treats - syrup warm from the evaporator and the all-time favorite treat: Sugar on Snow. During boiling hours you can visit the sugarhouse anytime the steam is rising! See the sap boiling from 40,000 trees in one of the world's largest and fastest sap evaporators! The smell of the sweet sap boiling teases you with visions of pancakes and waffles! Sugaring season lasts approximately 4 weeks during the months of March & April. Normal business hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Saturday, closed Sundays and Holidays. Call ahead for our boiling hours during sugaring season.

Very friendly and informative!! We like how he interacted with our kids - encouraged them to ask questions and answer his as well! He was generous with the samples and explained how even the maple rubs (fish and meat) were made. Such a cool place to go for a short visit. Definitely worth the trip!

We stopped here on our way to our campgrounds. The information shared was very informative and that this is still a family business is very special. The products were tastefully displayed and easy to purchase. Highly recommend stopping here and recognize something special in family owned and operated business that are still operating in the USA.

Free tour on how maple syrup is made. Family owned and super friendly. Maple syrup tasting at the end of tour to find what type is your personal favorite. I was hoping see the maple trees with taps but I found out during the tour that the collection period is only 6-8 weeks out of the year in the spring- we visited in October. Very fascinating tour with one of the family members.
