“the name says it all”
38 feet tall, made of real file cabinets welded on top of each other into a skinny, towering pile. This is a must see in Burlington: a stack of 11 file cabinets of differing sizes, 38 drawers in all. For something that's not intended to be outside, remarkably little rust. The name of the piece is "File Under So. Co., Waiting for...," representing the huge amount of paperwork that had been done in the effort to build the Southern Connector highway. By local sculptor Bren Alvarez.
Worth a quick stop during a road trip if you’re in the area!!
VERY easy to miss if you're not specifically looking for it! I'd driven past it at least a dozen times without ever seeing/noticing it! But it's pretty cool. Definitely worth stopping to take a picture if you're not too tired or in too much of a hurry.
Worth taking a minute to snap a quick photo!
Worth stopping by and snapping a picture. It definitely brought a smile to my face.
Literally the best thing ever
Certainly work a look if you're in the area.
