Vollmer Farm

Vollmer Farm is a 5th-generation working family farm focused on providing a genuine farm experience and producing wholesome, organic produce.  Located only a half hour from the Triangle, in Bunn, NC; the farm enjoys many new and regular patrons from all of NC and beyond. The farm is led by John Vollmer, affectionately known as Farmer John, and his son, Russell, a.k.a. Uncle Russ.  As the backbone of the farm, they keep the vision strong to provide customers with a “real farm” experience that is enormously fun and unique.  Whether it be picking berries in the spring or playing in the Back 40 in the fall, Farmer John and Uncle Russ have a true desire for your time on the farm to be special and memorable. The farm produces fresh, organic produce and churns delicious homemadenatural ice-cream, all available daily in the farm market; where you can also find other scrumptious food items, unique gifts and fun farm-themed children’s items. In the fall, you won’t want to miss our Back 40— a 40-acre playground that has a bounty of activities and is fun for all ages!  Our one-price admission (similar to the cost of a movie ticket), provides you with a full day of fun in a beautiful, fresh air environment.  We appreciate the feedback from our customers that the value they get at the farm is just incredible and like no other family entertainment or “farm” experience they’ve had ANYWHERE!
