Love the creek and sound of water. Lovely campground in a meadow. Not far from nice rafting, mountain biking and kayaking. Would camp again here with small camper or a tent not longer camper.
The road leading to the campground is too windy for 35 ft+ rigs. The Road sign before the turn off is hidden by bushes that need trimming so we and another rig both missed the turn and ended up driving up a hairpin turn road that was definitely not suited to big rigs and had to turn in a tight cemetery access road while stopping traffic.

I really like the campground location and folks were friendly. I’d absolutely stay again - with my tent but not with a 30 ft + camper and especially not during stormy weather. Several trucks and campers ploughed up grass and we saw one almost get stuck. Another couldn’t access the hookups as the meadow has dips and uneven ground Making it hard to back long campers in or hard to get gravity flow in sewer hoses. The dips in the sites cause water to pool and lots of mud. We don’t mind mud normally but it makes it hard when tires get stuck. There are no gravel or concrete pads for campers here.

I was so happy with this stay. It looks a bit old and shady from the web photos but the place is awesome. Quiet, great facilities and view. Reasonably priced.
They have wifi free. Pavilion with dish tv access. A creek that makes nice background noise. Close to Bryson city. Get spot 33. Last one. No one last you for wonderful view. If you have tent the spots are even better.
