“a tasty & quirky roadside joint”
Formerly Udder Place Coffee, now this quirky roadside joint is Sista's BBQ. But from recent reports the cow is still sitting atop the restaurant lounging in a coffee cup.
Sista’s BBQ founder Kathleen Baskin came to Maine on vacation and never left.As the former owner of Katy’s Catering and Gourmet Inn (located in Foley, AL, since 1984) she started her career in the restaurant business known to locals as Katy’s BBQ, famous for her fried green tomatoes and pecan smoked pork. Following her passion for food and a flair for catering trends, Kathleen decided to sell the restaurant to cater exclusively. Over the years, Katy’s Catering has had the pleasure of serving many clients and celebrities– Fannie Flagg, Cathy Ireland, Tanya Tucker and Southern Living Magazine, to name a few.
