How it all started Joe Byrnes was Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY while his wife Pam is a native of Bath, ME. Joe spent nearly a Quarter Century in the US Navy retiring in 1996 as a Master Chief Petty Officer.The couple have three grown children who are all successful in their own right. Jennifer, who resides in Brooklyn, NY, Works for a Publishing Company.Patrick, Is Currently the General Manager of Byrnes Irish Pub II in Brunswick.Maggie, Is Currently the General Manager of Byrnes Irish Pub I in Bath.Joe’s dream was accomplished as Byrnes Irish Pub in Bath opened March 17, 2008 to a great festive crowd! The Beer flowed, the music played and a tradition was born! Two Years Later, on St. Patrick’s Day 2010, A Second Dream occured as Byrnes Irish Pub II opened at the new Maine Street Station in Brunswick. With the upcoming Amtrack expansion coming to Brunswick, thousands of Visitors to Maine will have their first pint of Guinness at Byrnes Irish Pub!
