Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on November 27, 2023The camp sites were well separated and it was quite quiet through out our stay. Strange online booking wherein you book online, but that is effectively a request. They confirm but only assign you a site on arrival- you cannot choose it
Our campsite consisted of a hard packed sand "driveway" and a concrete pad next to it. We had a full hookup site including cable supposedly- it did not work so cannot comment on it. Also did not use facilities so no comment.
Bunnies added entertainment to a walk around the grounds. Funny little buggers, will come to you when you call - probably assuming you will provide food, which they quite happily take a carrot out of your fingers.
Cell: only used my Visible / mofi4500 and it was strong enough for Sling and laptop. About 8m up and 8 meg down
Close to both St Simons and Jekyll Islands. There were plenty of grocery stores nearby including Wally World, target, samsclub and restaurants.

We stayed in a spacious lot right next to the beautiful lake where we had plenty of room for the kids to play. Sunsets over the water while sitting around our fire pit. So much wildlife, rabbits, deer, armadillo, ducks and more. My young kids learned how to fish and caught some cool fish. Kayaking was easy and fun. Met nice people where we went including the fun lake beach. Lots of trails for exercise or biking. The front shop was helpful and kind. Got a load of wood delivered by a local for cheap. We would stay a month but our next stop awaits.

Blythe Island Regional Park was just a quick stop for us in between Florida and North Carolina. Unfortunately we did not have time to explore much but one night was enough to spoil us with the full hookup type of camping! The place is beautiful and our site was very quite and clean.
We were disappointed when we were going to the lake around 6PM just to realize that the access closes around 5PM. We find it a bit early considering it was the middle of June and there is sunlight until 8PM at least. We still walked around and enjoyed the views around the lake and nice trails.

Nicely spaced sites with lots of wildlife. Bring veggies for the Rabbits. Nice bike/hiking trails
. Boat landing was nicely maintained & a short boat ride into historic Brunswick. (Less than an hour in our small boat. My husband & I enjoyed a cold brew at a brewery; our dog had water. Very dog friendly town.

Very clean park. This regional park far exceeds the quality of most of the commercial campgrounds I’ve been to. Full hookup and spaces to spare on a holiday weekend. This is a hidden gem. On line reservations are a little quirky. You make a request for a reservation and they let you know if there is space available. Don’t expect a site number until a day before arrival. ALL sites are level and very nice.

This is an absolutely amazing park that has it all. Beautifully wooded spacious full hook-up sites (some lakefront), swimming beach, hiking trails and close to town while feeling out in nature.
But the best part? It's also a domestic bunny rescue and there are dozens and dozens roaming the park. Some will come up to you at your site, and they're super fun.

This park has nice lots with privacy (for an RV Park) with a good bit of trees and bushes between them.
The lake is nice and you can fish, canoe, or swim in it.
My family enjoyed the bunnies the best. They were always around the main office building and in the evening they were all around our campsite. We had lot 91 so we were not very far away from the front office.
All of the full hook up things worked as they should 50 amp, cable, water and sewer.
My only concern is that the county runs this campground and they had a lady doing community service by picking up the trash. I don't have a problem with the community service but the lady stopped by and was nice and welcoming to the campground. I thought she worked for them at first. 30 minutes later she was telling us (my child included) her story and run ins with the law. Plead guilty of driving on drugs but she said it was a joke and she has never done anything wrong. I believe she was on something at that time. My wife said out loud that she was uncomfortable and took our kid inside and it didn't slow down the sad story. I finally had to be a bit rude to get her to leave. I took one star off for this as we had friends in two different lots that didn't have the encounter. I don't believe it to be common but I want to put it out there as I have always felt very comfortable around other campers except for this lady.
We still had a great time minus the 30 minutes of a crazy story. The good outweighed the bad I will come back here soon.

I’ve never seen them so bad. Everytime the kids left the camper to fish swim or feed the bunnies they soon returned covered in bites with a fog of mosquitoes chasing them. The rabbits are so spoiled they only seem to eat chips. Carrots and strawberries didn’t interest them very much. Other than that it’s a nice place.

We arrived in April and the site I thought I booked a pull through was not available. Okay I make mistakes so I asked the agent what I had booked for July because I thought I had booked a pull through in a specific section. The agent agreed that I had booked a pull through in that specific site for July.
We arrive in July and they booked us in a different site that the agent agreed that I had booked. I asked the agent why and the same agent said there were no instructions for a specific site which they agreed by in April that I had booked with instructions.
We were perplexed and when we went to the site 46 there we had to clean up the debris and work around the roots to level.
So after recommending this RV park since 2004 and having great experiences We will not be returning

We just needed a quick overnight as we were travelling north, Blythe Island was in the right spot for us, so I booked. Since we only pulled in, hooked up and slept, we don't have much to say, however I would stay here again in order to explore the area a bit. The seemed nicely cared for and the sites are full hookup. Our site was level enough, but not very private. There was a nice view of the sunset over the lake.
