This campground is great for an aquatic adventure. Right on the banks of the mighty Mississippi. If you can get a tt site right on the river, you’re in luck. 5G Verizon service allows for a “work from campsite” situation.

We live nearby and we tried this campground for the first time. Campground has seasonal campsites on one end and month by month campers primarily on the other end and in the middle of the campground (sites 40s and 50s )are off the shoreline of the Mississippi they are tight spots however they do fit campers that are longer. (ours is 41 feet. )Distance between sites 15 -20 feet and in front of you is public green space and shelters along with some beach area. It did not book up while we were there on a Friday so we did not feel the squeeze of the close sites first hand. We enjoyed watching the boats go by. Office was rather old-school. Our reservation was penciled in on a notepad. And it was cash or check only. Sites were water and electric and there was a dump station. Also a boat landing on site. Seasonal camper area got a little rowdy on one night, otherwise a nice little campground for a night or two.
