“Lay your head in a Victorian Era home”
A grand old home set in the center of scenic New Hampshire, The Henry Whipple House was constructed in 1904. The house is typical of the Victorian era which can be seen in the architecture, oak woodwork, hardwood floors, chandeliers and stained glass windows which all add to the charm of this painted lady. The property's historical significance was acknowledged in April 2005 becoming New Hampshire's only bed and breakfast listed on the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places. The five main house chambers and three carriage house suites have been decorated and furnished in a relaxed but elegant style with luxury linens, antiques, art and several bronze engraved fireplaces. Available on a year-round basis, our professional establishment provides all private bathrooms with Gilchrist and Soames antioxidant-rich, botanical amenities and luxurious 100% Egyptian cotton towels, free wireless internet access, cable TV, air conditioning, guest refrigerator with complimentary soda and a water cooler for guest use. A DVD player is available by prior arrangement.
