Lovely setting! Signs of a happy history all around!
We were here in April when most amenities are not available, and while spring blossoms were most welcoming, the detritus of winter storms was still evident in some of the little-used sites. The staff were cordial though a bit slow in processing our registration.
Most disappointing was discovering that the water at our site was brown, making it unusable for drinking or cooking. It probably hadn’t been used or the pipes flushed for some time. Adding insult to injury, the cable at our site didn’t work for us as well.
I would recommend that the maintenance crew be a bit more diligent in their duties overseeing available campsites and to be sure to inform the office staff when things are not fully up to snuff.

We stayed here because it was one of the few campgrounds open in early April. I drove from the dealers lot to this campground. It was my first towing experience and our first family camping experience. Staff was so nice, they knew I was potentially going to have trouble backing in and came to assist me. The directions provided were amazing, they went out of their way to help teach me some backing in skills!!
It was a rainy weekend, lots of storms passing through, no campfires allowed prior to rain because of fire Marshall restrictions and horrible camping weather but we had a nice time! We used the cable extensively, we we’re thankful for that. The site was really nice. During the few dry hours we had, our kids enjoyed the playground and we even played some pickle ball!
On our way out I started talking to a seasonal hanging his lights and he was super nice and offered to help me leave the campsite which I was a little apprehensive about, to turn left and head out vs. going to the right and around the campground. He assured me I could make the left and said he was a truck driver. He patiently waited for us to get all packed up and the kids in the car and helped me confidently make the turn. What a nice guy!!
We will definitely go back here, nice people and nice sites, full hook ups and nice price!! The splash pad the pit in for kids looks really cute, our 4 year old really wants to come back to use it!

Although it seems like a wonderful set up when we pulled in,our spot was quite tight for our class c and electric and water far from parking. Surrounded by loud music and yapping dogs all night. Imo yapping dogs shouldn't be tolerated at campgrounds. A bark is typical -non stop yapping unacceptable and management had to hear being office was nearby. Loud music it states isn't permitted-but we had to listen to it. Thank goodness it was just a stop over night and outta here early!
