The location is a bit rough, it's stuck between I-90 and an active train track so noise is a problem. On the good side though there is great easy access into Bozeman (bikeable) and lots of walking trails within a 5-10 minute drive. The owners are fantastic and the people we've met there are always friendly. There are DVDs available in the office. WiFi is slow, Verizon is 4G but slow, AT&T is 4G and pretty decent.

The sites can be fairly tight and there is train noise, but I really liked this campground because the owners, Marty and Mary Jo are so nice and accommodating. I was fortunate to have site #39 at the end so didn't have neighbors on one side. It is very close to the central area of Bozeman, which was quite convenient.

You don't stay here for the scenery. The park is your typical pack-em-in with gravel sites and a few trees here and there. Highway noise is ever present. Hook ups- check.
You stay here because you can ride your bike 1.7 miles right into downtown Bozeman. Its not necessarily a kid-friendly ride (you cross a few hairy highway exits/entrances) but its safe enough. And you probably won't be drunk on your way home because all the breweries close at 8pm (grrrrr). But if you got an early start then I recommend a cab.
You also stay here because the owners are so friendly you'll suspect an ulterior motive. But no, they have none. They are just super nice.

Good location near Bozeman, but also near 90 and train tracks so there can be some noise. Many level pull through sites, but sites are pretty close together. Bathrooms and showers were kept very clean. The owners were friendly too.

We called sunrise campground before coming to dump and fill our tanks. They said they charged $5. When we got there, a male employee said no it's $5 for dump and $5 for fill. My husband told him we would just use their water and dump somewhere else. Everywhere else we have dumped and filled up has been $5 total, so we were a bit surprised. He was very rude and made several remarks about how cheap we were and if we needed a free place to stay, we could go to walmart. When someone else walked in, he said "let me help this guy that doesnt want to pay for anything". What. A. Jerk.

Well, it's probably the best place near Boseman if you're traveling through on the Interstate. It's stuck right between a very busy railroad track (yes, even at night) and Interstate 90. There appeared to be several "campers" who had been there a while but the bath/shower rooms were very clean and the hosts are exceptionally friendly. The site was very level, always a plus. Gravel interior roads and pads. They have propane and a dump onsite too. We got full hookups and refilled a propane tank the next morning before heading out. It was a rough night sleeping because of the trains and trucks on the highway. We'd stay there again if we had to. I can't remember exactly what we paid but it was around 35 to 40.

If this campground wasn’t between the train and interstate we would give 5 stars for customer service and cleanliness alone. Marty & Maryjo are some of the nicest owners/hosts we’ve run across on our nation wide travels. Very clean restrooms and laundry facilities, very close to town, and they have an impressive movie/book collection that is free for campers to rent. Would definitely recommend to others and will definitely stop in again if/when we pass through Bozeman.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the Bozeman area. This campground is conveniently located adjacent to I-90, which unfortunately makes it a noisy place to stay as you hear cars going by all day and night. Add to this a train track on the other side of the campground that woke me up four times in one night, not because of the train sound on the tracks, but because the train blew its horn each and every time.
Besides the noise factor, this is a nice campground with wonderful staff. The owners were very polite, friendly, and helpful. We used the laundry facilities which worked great. The owners have an extensive DVD library that you can borrow from during your stay, as well as a library of books that they said were free to take. This seemed like a really nice bonus for anyone interested.
Each site is a level, gravel site. Most are pull through sites. Tent campsites are also available.
The Wifi was the fastest of any campground we've been at lately and was reliable through the evening. We also had excellent AT&T service. TV service is what's available from direct broadcast. No cable access at each campsite.

The campground is located in close proximity to downtown Bozeman and local hikes, and the hosts were incredibly hospitable. They helped us find a local, trustworthy RV repairman and helped us when we received a package.
It is a noisy area, the lots are small, and the amenities are basic - but, after drycamping for a while, the unlimited showers were a treat. We’d stay here again if passing through Bozeman.

Was able to dump right on entry. Host/owner very friendly. Sites are very close together. But laundry was fair priced and showers were awesome! Bathrooms and overall campground very clean. Other than location that leads to noise from highway/traffic/tight sites, very good campground. Trains usually drive my husband nuts and they were bad but maybe not as bad as reviews indicated. You can hear them but not as close as as we expected.
