The Bulfinch Triangle Historic District is a historic district roughly bounded by Canal, Market, Merrimac, and Causeway Streets in Boston, Massachusetts. It is part of the Bulfinch Triangle neighborhood, which is bounded by North Washington, Market, Merrimac, and Causeway Streets. Charles Bulfinch, after whom the district is named, contributed to the layout of its streets, though he did not design any of the buildings presently standing. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. In Colonial Boston, this area was a mill pond, with its dam at Causeway Street.
