The Sports Museum

Celebrating the Character (and Characters) of Boston Sports.   At The Sports Museum, we celebrate the character of Boston sports -- the unique brand of teamwork, determination, responsibility, courage, fairness, and other qualities of character possessed by our teams and athletes that make Boston "The Greatest Sports City in America." Equally important, we use this distinctly rich heritage to help build character in kids so that they can stand strong in the face of drugs, violence, and other dangers. The Sports Museum houses one of the finest collections of film, video, photographs and research material in North America. Included in the collection is over one thousand hours of rare sports film and video footage, a comprehensive photo library of over two thousand titles covering a multitude of sports, files of primary source materials such as scrapbooks and diaries of prominent sports figures, artifacts such as uniforms, trophies, medals, and equipment, and much more. We're located on Levels 5 and 6 of the TD Garden. The TD Garden is located in Boston's Downtown North section on Causeway Street, minutes from the historic North End and Faneuil Hall.
