The magnificent Sagamore on Lake George has been extending hospitality to visitors of Bolton Landing for over one hundred years. Poised on the southern end of Green Island, The Sagamore commands stunning views of Lake George and the islands that grace its waters. This family friendly golf and lakefront resort offers luxury accommodations, extraordinary dining, superb fitness and spa facilities and a host of opportunities to enjoy the incredible beauty of the Adirondacks. The Sagamore is also known for being haunted. The most well known ghost still residing at the resort is of a little boy who likes to play pranks on the golf course. Several golfers have reported mysterious flying golf balls, or golf balls gone missing.

If you're looking for something a little more high-end, the Sagamore is a Victorian era resort that has been catering to the rich and famous since 1883. Burned down twice, closed down and then restored in 1983, this hotel is full of history.

I had the opportunity to stay here last spring to attend a conference and brought my family. We LOVED it! Lots to keep the kids busy and such beautiful resort. Looking forward to going again this spring.
