“Circa 1950's”
The Circle B Motor Lodge was established in 1953 on the outskirts of Benkelman, Nebraska. Four couples have owned the motel since it opened its doors. The first owners, who built the facility, were Ray and Juanita Bravard. Next, Richard and Elsie Anderson took ownership from 1961 to 1984. Vern & Sherry Beckman purchased the motel from the Andersons and ran the business until 1998. Shane & Nickole Sis took over from there and then sold it to the current owners, Tim & Leah Swenson in 2011. The motel has 17 rooms -- 10 on the ground floor and 7 upstairs. Of those 17, nine are rooms with one bed (singles), seven are rooms with two beds (doubles), and 1 room has three beds (triple). Our rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, a great cable TV selection, in-room direct dial phones, and wireless internet access for a minimal charge.
