Ruttger's Birchmont Lodge, a year-round family resort on Lake Bemidji offering cottages, motel rooms and townhomes. Facilities include: indoor pool, fitness center, sauna, whirlpool, beach and boat rentals. From the fishing opener weekend in May, through Labor Day, our opened facilities increase to include conference facilities for up to about 100 people, an on-premise restaurant, and a cocktail lounge. Our guests enjoy the terrific golfing at the many nearby 9 hole and championship 18 hole golf courses including the beautiful Bemidji Town and Country Club. Ruttger's, is a full service family resort. The resort lodge and cabins are spread out along a beautiful 1700 foot natural beach. Ruttger's offers a host of summer activities including fishing, swimming, sailing, water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and much more. In the summer months the resort also offers a complimentary supervised children’s recreation program. Children love the supervised hiking, bonfires, treasure hunts, and other planned events, most provided at no additional charge.
