“220 acres of gardens”
Gibbs Gardens is distinguished by 220 acres of gardens set in a mature forest in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. The rolling hills, abundance of springs and streams and mature shade trees create a truly unique backdrop for these unforgettable gardens. There are 16 gardens areas, including Japanese Gardens (the largest in the nation), Water Lily Gardens (the nation’s largest display of 140 varieties in a natural environment), and Daffodil Gardens (the largest display in the country).
Various weekends throughout the year you can enjoy live music from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., just as the sun is setting. Listen in the Great Lawn with a pre-ordered box dinner, or purchase food when your there (wine and beer too!) and listen as you stroll the gardens.
