Ratings Summary
Our campsite was right on the river near the front of the park on a grass pad. As the campground was full, we only had electric and water service. The electricity was fine at our campsite, but campsites further to the back of the campground had some electrical trouble. Cell phone service was spotty with Verizon and Zero with T-Mobile. We had zero campground wifi unless standing next to the laundry room. My kids loved tubing in the river and getting intentionally-muddy on the banks. The park hosted a wonderful boat race on the river which we loved. There is a fun store with all kinds of goodies and the owners...and all of the staff were truly sweet. You could hear some road noise from our site, but it was not bad. We really enjoyed our sight along the river and it was a beautiful setting for an evening fire. We would happily return if the wifi situation was remedied and we were in the area.
